1. Set the roller in its lowest position. This supports the whole framework, and enables the other attachments to be set for varying intensity in relation to this datum.

2. The star slitter is used in most situations as it is always beneficial to keep the turf surface open and breathing.

3. The scarifying rake can be used with varying intensity, or not at all, depending on how strongly the grass is growing. A light grooming is appropriate at most time in through the growing season, with a more aggressive scarifying to remove thatch in late spring and early autumn when recovery is strong.

4. The rear brush leaves beautiful presentation stripes, and again has a single lever adjuster to quickly vary the intensity of brushing.
