And adjusting the height of cut couldn’t be easier. With the incredibly accurate ‘set-by-feel’ adjusters, you can precisely set how deep you cut in 0.25mm increments. We recommend that you set the blades at -1mm to -3mm for typical thatch growth, but you can set them as deep as 6mm if you have a deep thatch problem that you need to intensively work on.

The difference is that with extra-thin blades spaced further apart at 15mm, cutting at a shallower depth of 1-2mm, it does the job without stressing the fine sward.
